(Univoltine)  Habitat Still water & slow flowing rivers. Foodplant Pondweed spp. Lifestage data Aquatic. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva spins leaves together into an open web and feeds within, it makes occasional wriggling movements to aid gas exchange. Pupates in large pinkish subaquatic cocoon attached to a plant. |
